Today I am.....

Relishing these moments, Otto has started to self wean from the breast a little, and bit by bit these lovely moments of snuggling in together for nursing sessions are becoming shorter and less often.  I will really miss stroking his hair and kissing the top of his head, he is such a busy baby that we don't get many moments of quiet together.

I have loved watching the seasons change from Spring with a newborn, through Summer, Autumn and now into Winter from the nursery window, sometimes the overgrown garden gets me down, but from the nursery window it has been a view full of birds nesting and feeding, flowers blooming and fruit growing.  Maybe a gentle reminder that not everything has to be ordered to be beautiful, that there is beauty in chaos too.
